Passed away on April 14, 2001 after a 19 month battle with breast cancer. She was born on October 27, 1946 in Regina, Sask. Maureen was predeceased by her parents, Gladys and Bill Kullman. She is survived by a sister Evelyn Sharp, her husband Wayne, niece Leeann, nephew Derek, 6 cousins, 3 aunts and 2 uncles and her beloved cat, Ginger. Maureen graduated from U of Sask. (BA). She had a 30 year career with the Federal Government in foreign affairs, DVA and Telecommunications. Maureen enjoyed judo and was proud of achieving her black belt. She enjoyed the outdoors, canoeing, camping, cross-country skiing and her swimming pool. By Maureen's request, service and burial will be held on the prairie where she had her roots. The family would like to thank her neighbours and friends who provided so much support during her final days, especially Katherine who was such a caring friend and Ingrid who is adopting Ginger.
