OSTAPOVITCH, Harold Joseph Passed away suddenly on March 11, 2011 at home, with his loving wife Sylvia by his side. Harold was born in Theodore, Saskatchewan and is survived by 4 of his 12 siblings, Mike Ostapovitch, Vera Ostapovitch, Fred (Diane) Ostapovitch and Oda Yacovitch. Harold was a loving husband, father and grandfather and was renowned for his wonderful sense of humour and storytelling. With his engineering background and wealth of knowledge he could design, build and repair just about anything. He was so loved by his two sons Gerry (Alexandra Bogacki, (Peter Butler) Stephanie and Natalie) and Arnie (Mary Anne, Chris, Joanne and Katherine). He was predeceased by his eldest son, Gerry in 1990. The whole family will always cherish such special memories of our time together at the Ostapovitch cottage this past summer celebrating Grandma and Grandpa's 60th Anniversary. They were never happier than when the family was able to spend time together. A memorial service will be held at Rideau Funeral Home, 4275 Boulevard des Sources, DDO, (514) 685-3344, on Tuesday March 15, 2011 at 11:00.
