In Montreal on April 17, 2001 in his seventy-seventh year. He will be sadly missed by his former wife Vivienne Shatilla, his sons Neil (Anne Duffie), Frank (Tina Donolo) and Paul, eleven grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Predeceased by his brothers Frank, Elie, Joseph and Ernest. Special thanks to the intensive care unit and the Hemodialysis Unit of the Royal Victoria Hospital for their exceptional and compassionate care. The family will receive condolences at Urgel Bourgie Funeral Complex, 1255 Beaumont, Town of Mount Royal. The funeral ceremony will be held on Friday, April 20 at 11 a.m. in St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church, 555 Jean Talon East. Thence to Mount Royal Cemetery. Donations to the Cedar's Cancer Institute or The St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church would be appreciated.
