The Very Rev. Dr. Wilbur Kenneth Peacefully on Tuesday, April 17, 2001 at the Grace Hospital, Toronto, in his 89th year. Youth educator, minister, and Moderator of the United Church of Canada from 1974-1976. Greatly missed by his close friends and those he served and inspired. Friends may call at the Morley Bedford Funeral Home, 159 Eglinton Ave. West (two lights west of Yonge Street), Friday between 3 and 8 p.m. or at Metropolitan United Church, 56 Queen Street East, Toronto, Saturday 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. Service in the church 11:00 a.m. Cremation. Friends are invited to a reception following the service in the dining room of the Church House. Donations to the Mission and Service Fund of the United Church of Canada in Dr. Howard's name, 3250 Bloor Street West, Toronto, would be appreciated.
