(nee LEBLANC). Passed away peacefully at home on the morning of April 17, 2001 following a long illness. Beloved wife of Norman Lawand, she leaves behind four loving children; Rick, Norman, Gordon and Dyanne (Jim Spencer) and nine grandchildren; Tara, Melissa, Brittany, Kelly, Julie, Emmy, Dawn, Michael and Danielle, and several great-grandchildren, she also leaves behind her sister Margaret and her brother Raymond. She will be greatly missed by many relatives and friends. The family will receive condolences at Urgel Bourgie Funeral Complex, 1255 Beaumont, Town of Mount Royal. Visitation 7 to 10 p.m., Wednesday, April 18, 2001. Funeral service in St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church, 555 Jean Talon East, Thursday, April 19 at 11 a.m. Funeral service. Visitation starting in church at 10:30 a.m. thence to Mount Royal Cemetery. Mercy meal to follow.Donations to St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church would be greatly appreciated.
