Peacefully with family at the Belleville General Hospital on Wednesday, April 18, 2001 in his ninetieth year. Son of the late Neil and Isabella. Beloved husband of Isobel. Loving father of Sandra and her husband Tom Carmichael of Toronto and Peter of England. Grandfather of Scott, Stacey (Mrs. Brian Reed), Kim (Mrs. Kevin Prestidge) and six great-grandchildren. Brother of the late Florence MacTavish. Cremation with interment at a later date in Hudson Heights, Quebec.
