D.D.S. A tragic loss on Wednesday, April 18, 2001 at the age of 56. Beloved wife for 25 years of George. Loving mother of Randy and Curtis. Cherished daughter of Charlie and the late Marjory Briggs. Janneane is also survived by her brother Robin Briggs, his wife Liz and their children Martha, Tobin and Caitlin; her sisters Laurel Lee Allum and her husband Colin; Rosemary Briggs and Colleen Bolger and her husband David and their daughter Kathleen. Janneane's family is extremely close and deeply grieved by her death. She will also be missed at the Perley Rideau Veterans' Home by her tremendous staff who supported her as the resident dentist. Friends may visit at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod Street on Saturday, April 21 from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday, April 22nd from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the Chapel on Monday, April 23 at 10 a.m. Donations to the Alzheimer Society or Carleton Memorial United Church would be appreciated by the family.
