(nee Stead) Peacefully at the Palliative Care Unit of the Royal Victoria Hospital, on Thursday, April 19, 2001 at age 57, following a brief battle with melanoma cancer. Beloved wife of Donald Nichol, mother of sons Dale and Christopher, and daughter of Evelyn Stead and the late Clifford Stead of Ottawa. A memorial service will be held at Wyman United Church, 513 Main Road, Hudson, Quebec on Monday, April 23 at 2:30 p.m. Followed by a reception in the church hall. the family requests that donations be made to the Palliative Care Service of the Royal Victoria Hospital.
