(nee Caruth) On Friday, April 20, 2001 at the Ottawa General Hospital at the age of 71. Beloved wife of Cyril (Michael) Branson and mother of Clive Branson. Shirley passed away peacefully after having bravely battled cancer for many years. Her love of life, her generosity, friendliness and compassion will be dearly missed by all who knew her. The family will receive friends at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod Street, on Tuesday, April 24, 2001 from 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral will be held at St. Alban The Martyr Anglican Church, King Edward Avenue at Daly, Ottawa, Ontario on Wednesday, April 25, 2001 at 2 p.m., followed by cremation. memorial donations to the Ottawa Regional Cancer Centre Foundation would be appreciated.
