After a brief illness, Karl passed away on April 24, 2001 at the age of eighty-four. He is survived by a brother, Walter and by his sisters, Lies (Peverley), Trudel (Kunzel), Eva (Spindelmann), and Ilse (Hertel). They and their families, Karl's in-laws and nieces and nephews will miss him. Visitation on Sunday, April 29 from 2 to 5 p.m. at Collins Clarke, 5610 Sherbrooke St. West, Montreal.
