Born March 1, 1889 Died April 25, 2001 In The Grove Nursing Home, Arnprior Ontario on Wednesday morning in her 113th year, Mamie Smith nee Needham of Arnprior and formerly of Pakenham Township. Predeceased by her husband Lewis Smith in 1958. Dear mother of Harold (Dorothy) Smith of Arnprior. Dear grandmother of Bryson (Deborah) of Orleans, Howard (Brenda) of Kanata, Marilyn (Jim) Brooks of Kanata, Jim (Karen) of Orleans and David (Beverley) of Pakenham. Great-grandmother of Robin, Stephanie, Paul, Brian, Cory, Bailey and Bradley. Survived by one great-great-granddaughter, Danielle. Predeceased by brothers John and George Needham and sister Mabel Needham. Survived by 3 nephews, Ken and Russell Needham and Ken Smith and 3 nieces and 1 great-niece of the western provinces. Daughter of the late Samuel Needham and Elizabeth Harten. Resting at The Boyce Funeral Home LTD., 138 Daniel Street N. Arnprior where friends may pay their respects on Friday 2 - 4 p.m. and 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral service will be conducted in Emmanuel Anglican Church in Arnprior on Saturday April 28, 2001 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Bruce Ferguson officiating. Interment St. Mark's Anglican Cemetery at Pakenham. In memoriams to The Grove Nursing Home appreciated by her family. Ottawa Citizen, April 26, 2001
