In hospital, Perth, on Thursday, April 26th, 2001, Robert Anderson "Bob" Borthwick (veteran of WWII, Cameron Highlanders) in his 82nd year. Husband of the late Kathleen "Kaye" (Chatham) Borthwick. Loved father of Gail (Brian) Burnett of Ottawa and Paul (Erin) Borthwick of Perth. Cherished Grandpa of Vicki (James) Visneskie, Gregory Burnett, Ryan and Stacey Borthwick and Great grandpa to Amy Visneskie. Bob was predeceased by his parents John and Isabella (Rutherford) Borthwick and brothers Jim and Joe Borthwick, he will be sadly missed by his sisters-in-law Maizie and Emma Borthwick, his family and many good friends. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, Perth on Friday, April 27th, 2001 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in Asbury Free Methodist Church, Perth, on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be held privately at Elmwood Cemetery. Royal Canadian Legion Branch 244, Perth will hold a Veteran's Service of Remembrance Friday at 7:00 p.m. Ottawa Citizen, April 27, 2001
