(nee Hamilton) Kelly Rae Marie passed away April 26th peacefully at home surrounded by her family. She fought a two year battle with brain tumours. She is survived by her husband Patrick, sons Chris and Scott, sister Laura (Ralph) Asbury of St. Albert, Alberta, parents Les and Bea Hamilton of Calgary and a nephew Danny Hamilton of St. Albert. Kelly was born in Calgary and attended St. Margaret and St. Frances schools graduating in 1981. She worked in the oil industry for several years prior to career moves to the Vancouver area and later to the Ottawa suburb of Blackburn Hamlet. Kelly was born to be a mother and a volunteer who spent much time at the schools and pre-school. The outpouring of generosity and help from her many friends over the last two years attest to their love for her. A memorial Mass will be celebrated at Good Shepherd Church on May 1st at 1:00 p.m. with inurnment in St. Mary's Cemetery in Navan. Ottawa Citizen, April 28, 2001
