Peacefully, and with dignity, in hospital at Ottawa, Ontario on Saturday, April 28, 2001 surrounded by her loving family. Betty Jones in her 72nd year. Wife of the late Robert "Bob" Babineau. Daughter of the late Harry Jones and his wife the late Sarah Barlow. Devoted and caring mother of Donna (Paul Kavanagh), Bruce (Darlene), Pam (Bernie Lee), Rick (Donna) and Sheri (Trevor Eagle). Proud and loving grandmother of Craig, Shelley, Pammie, Jason, Laura, Alex, Thomas, Natasha and Devon. Lovingly remembered by her sister Eileen (Earl Marryatt) and brothers Bernie (Eileen), Walter (Lydia), Alvin Herron (late Lynn) and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her sister Margaret. Private family arrangements entrusted to the Alan R. Barker Funeral Home 19 McArthur Avenue, Carleton Place Special thanks to the doctors and nurses of the Ottawa General Hospital Intensive Care Unit for the professional and compassionate care Betty received.
