Evan Clifford PURDY

It is with great sadness that we announce that Evan Clifford Purdy slipped away peacefully while at CH de Papineau, Buckingham on Saturday, April 28, 2001 at the age of 67 years. He was predeceased by his father Robert Purdy and his sister Polly Smith. He will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by his mother Florence Purdy (nee Ivall) and sister Viola Arnold. He was a wonderful uncle to nieces and nephews and also to his great-nieces and nephews. He also leaves to mourn his loss many family and friends. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 5, 2001 at the Gore United Church, Thurso, Quebec at 11 a.m. Interment of cremated remains will follow at the Gore United Cemetery, Thurso, Quebec. Donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. A special thanks to the staff at the Ottawa Hospital General Campus and at the CH de Papineau, Buckingham.
