Longtin Roger – Peacefully at home on Tuesday August 2nd 2011. Joseph Roger Longtin of Summerstown; age 79 years. Beloved husband of the late Aline (Martin). Cherished father of Ronald (Gail), Raymond, Richard (Francine), Diane (Tim Branchaud), Marcel (Sheila), Francois, Rachelle (Daniel Racine) and Ginette (Roger Gravelle). Loved grandfather of twenty grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Fondly remembered by his sisters Therese (Adrian Tessier), Adriane Lauzon (Maurice Boyer) and by many nieces and nephews. Roger is predeceased by his Parents Joseph and Anne Marie (Brunet) Longtin, by his brothers Henri (Laurette), Ernest, Lucien (Gracia) and Remi (Yvette) and by his sister Laurentienne (Arthur Lafromboise). Resting at Lahaie & Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Homes, West Branch, 20 Seventh Street West (613-932-8482). From 2 P.M. on Friday. Funeral Saturday August 6, 2011 for service in Memorial Chapel at 2 P.M., Cremation. The family will be in attendance on Friday from 2 P.M. to 4 P.M. and from 7 P.M. to 9 P.M. and Saturday from 12 P.M. until the time of service. As and expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Cornwall Community Hospital Foundation or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
