With peace and dignity on May 2, 2001 in her 60th year at home, surrounded by her family and friends after a long and valiant battle with cancer. Beloved wife of Morris Danylewich. Loving mother of David and Andrew (Julie Ann). Dear daughter of Annie and the late Douglas Forsyth. Sister of Graeme (Barbara) Forsyth. Aunt of Scott and Jason Forsyth. Special thanks to the Gynecological Oncology Team of the Ottawa Hospital General Campus, the V.O.N. and the Home Care nurses for their professional and compassionate care. A very special thanks to those friends who gave support and help throughout her illness. During her final battle with ovarian cancer, Heather's indomitable spirit never wavered; her humour, calmness and enormous courage shine as guideposts for our own lives. At her request a celebration of Heather's life will be held in her garden at a later date.
