At his residence on Duval Road, Vankleek Hill, Ontario on Wednesday, May 2, 2001 Raymond Shelly formerly of Lachine, Quebec in his ninety-first year. Predeceased by his beloved wife Jean Cotton. Devoted father of Gladys Dix (Ross) and David (Jacqueline). Adored by his grandchildren, Jason, Deanah and Ryan. Predeceased by his brothers Edward and Clary. Survived by his sisters-in-law Inez Auld, Gladys Flood, Margaret Cotton and brother-in-law Ben Cotton. Family will receive friends at St. Gregory's Catholic Church, Higginson Street, Vankleek Hill on Friday, May 11 from 12 p.m. followed by a Mass in Memory at 1 p.m. Those wishing may make a memorial donation in honour of Raymond to the Hawkesbury and District General Hospital Foundation, 1111 Ghislain Street, Hawkesbury, Ontario.
