(nee Markush). Passed away peacefully after a short illness on Wednesday, May 2, 2001 at the age of seventy-eight. Beloved wife of the late William. Devoted mother of Eugene (Luba). Loving grandmother of Taras and Adrian. Dearest sister of Mary Karwatsky, Helen Roman and the late William Markush. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Resting at Alfred Dallaire, 3254 Bellechasse. Visitation will take place Saturday, May 5 and Sunday, May 6 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Panahyda, both days at 7 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Monday, May 7 at 10 a.m. at St. Sophie's Cathedral thence to Mount Royal Cemetery.
