Formerly of PEI Peacefully, at the Ottawa General Hospital, on Thursday, May 3, 2001 at the age of 61 years, Gordon Gay, beloved husband of Trudy MacDonald for 39 years. Loving father of Dr. Geoffrey Gordon (Sue), Darrin Leigh (Marion), Jonathan Roland (Michelle), Matthew Jeremy (Christine) and Joshua David. Proud grandfather of Jacob Geoffrey and Katherine Ann, Abigail Jane, Noah Thomas and brand new Sadie Elizabeth. Dear brother of Helen, Gerald and Kenneth of PEI, Stanford, Dorothy and Linda of Ottawa and Donald of Calgary. Predeceased by brothers Garth, Robert, Beverly and sister Elizabeth. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Family will receive relatives and friends at HERITAGE Funeral Home, 2871 St. Joseph Blvd. (west of Place d'Orleans), Orleans, on Sunday, May 6th, 2001 from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. Service will be held in the Chapel on Monday, May 7th, 2001 at 10:30 a.m., followed by cremation.
