(Retired Parks Canada) Suddenly at home, May 3, 2001, at the age of 75 years. Husband of Lee. Devoted father of Edgar (Cheryl) and Aleksander. Step-father of Diana Phillips. Grandfather of Kyle. Alex was born in Riga, Latvia, emigrated to Canada after WWII. He was a member of Radio Amateurs of Canada. "Dad, thank you for all the things you did and gave to me. You will be greatly missed. Rest in peace". Friends may visit at the West Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 150 Woodroffe Avenue at Richmond Road on Saturday, May 5, 2001, from 10 a.m. to 12 noon.
