Peacefully in hospital, Perth on Friday May 4th, 2001 Sadie E. (Conboy) Darby in her 98th year. Sadie was predeceased in 1967 by her husband Harry Darby. She was the dearly loved mother of Gordon (Helen) Darby, Mildred Darby-Mott and Earl (Jean) Darby all of Perth and sister of Cora Mitchell and Hilliard (Dorothy) Conboy of Perth. She will be sadly missed by her 7 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews and was predeceased by sister Adeline Conboy and brothers Jim, Austin, Russell and Gordon Conboy. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, Perth Sunday May 6th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the chapel Monday at 11:00 a.m. Interment, Elmwood Cemetery. In remembrance, contributions to the Memorial Fund of St. James Anglican Church, Perth or fund of one's choice would be appreciated. Ottawa Citizen, May 06, 2001
