At Smiths Falls on Friday May 4, 2001, Lloyd Hughes, age 81 years. Beloved husband of Alice McGrath for over 60 years. Loving father of Nancy (Ross Dulmage) of Kemptville, Ron and Sharon (Burchill) and Linda (James Bond) all of Smiths Falls, and predeceased by a daughter Marilyn Elaine (1942). Cherished grandfather of Scott and Michelle Hughes, Hal and Tina Hughes, Matthew and Bev Dulmage, Martha and Christopher Whitehead, Sarah Dulmage, Mary and Don Lewis, Hugh and Rashmi Hawley, James Hawley and Katie and Dan Truelove and great grandfather of Aidan, Maxwell and Mikaela Hughes and Danika Dulmage. Dear brother of Kenneth Hughes of Smiths Falls and predeceased by a sister Estella and brothers Harold, Stanley and William. Friends may call at the Lannin Funeral Home, Smiths Falls, on Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The Funeral service will be held from the Chapel on Monday April 7th 2001 at 11:00 a.m. Interment Wolford Cemetery.
