Former Mayor of Buckingham Passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 5, 2001 at the age of 88 years. Beloved husband of the late Anita Cadieux. Loved father and father-in-law of Bob (Lyse Courtemanche), Maureen, Claire (Lee Butler), Peter (Cheryl Gaspar), Paul (Sandra Murphy) and Annette. Brother of Lena Parent of Tupper Lake, NY. Brother-in-law to Lucille Cadieux, Joe Allen, Amanda Cadieux and Irene Cadieux. Also survived by 17 grandchildren, one great-granddaughter and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his daughters Anne and Louise. Resting at the Cadieux Funeral Home (Villeneuve Chapel), 322 Principale, Buckingham. Visitation Monday 7 to 9 p.m., Tuesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday 9 a.m. until time of service at Our Lady of Victory Church at 11 a.m. Followed by interment at the parish cemetery. The family wishes to thank the medical staff of the hospital and the Centre d'Accueil of Buckingham for their professional and compassionate care.
