(nee Kaufman). Peacefully with her family by her side on Sunday, May 6, 2001 in Niagara Falls, Ontario in her seventy-fifth year. Beloved mom of Paul (Diane) Armstrong, of Fort McMurray, AB, and Susan Armstrong (Kevin Acton), of Niagara, ON. Loving grandma to Thomas "T.J.", Michelle and Samantha. Shirley will be lovingly remembered by her "sister" and best friend Martha Monroe, of Niagara Falls, ON. Mrs. Armstrong was a long time member of the Montreal West Curling Club and the Montreal West United Church. As per Shirley's wishes, cremation has take place. A private family interment was held in Riverside Cemetery in Lewiston, New York. If desired, memorial donations can be made to the Greater Niagara General Hospital Foundation.
