KIRKEY, Lurline M.C. (Dancause), Laurie – passed away very peacefully at the Cornwall Community Hospital, McConnell site on Wednesday, June 22, 2011. R.N. class of 1949 – Religious Hospitallors of St. Joseph School of Nursing Cornwall and member of the Catholic Women’s League of St. Columban’s parish. Born in Cornwall, May 29, 1928; age 83 years. Beloved wife of the late Gerald A. Kirkey. Loved daughter of the late Yvonne Filion and the late John Dancause. Predeceased by infant sister Yvonne. Dear mother of Timothy Kirkey (Sheila) of Whitby Ontario, and Stephen Kirkey (Gail) of Cornwall. Survived by one sister Marcella O’Connor (late Andrew). Also survived by five grandchildren Barry, Bruce, Brian, Jonathan and Douglas and several nieces and nephews. Resting at Lahaie and Sullivan, Cornwall Funeral Home, West Branch, 20 Seventh St. West (613-932-8482) from 7 P.M. Sunday. Funeral Monday, June 27, 2011 for a Memorial Mass in St. Columban’s Church at 11 A.M. Interment to follow at St. Columban’s Parish Cemetery. The family will be in attendance from 7 P.M. to 9 P.M. on Sunday and from 9:00 A.M. until the time of Funeral on Monday.
