Suddenly, May 7, 2001, aged 76. Born in Leeds, Yorkshire. Dearly beloved husband and best friend of Joyce. Beloved father of Margaret (Bill), Jane (Peter) and Kathy (Allan). Dearest grandfather of Chris (Shona), Heather (Peter), Gillian, Will, Jamie, John and Lucy. Dear Brother of Beryl, Cathy and the late Gladys. Served in the R.A.F. in England and Burma during World War II. Member of the Burma Star Association. Former teacher at Ryerson Polytechnic, retired Assistant Chief Statistician of Canada. Friends and family may gather at St. John's Anglican Church, Prescott for funeral services on Friday, May 11, 2001, at 1 p.m. No visitation by request.
