LUKE, Lilian Rose (née Day) est décédée paisiblement au campus de l'hôpital Civic d'Ottawa le mercredi 9 mai 2001, à l'âge de 81 ans. Lilian Rose, née à Tunbridge Wells, Kent, Angleterre, était l'épouse bien-aimée de feu George Trevor Luke. Elle sera vivement regrettée par ses filles, Georgina Charron (Richard) et Glynis Luke; grand-mère attentionnée de Stephen Charron (Christine), Christine Gascon (Christian), Bryan Charron (Brigitte) et Kevin Buske (Charlene) et chérie de ses arrière-petits-enfants: Gregory, Matthew, William, Cedrik, Deron et Kaylee-Lynn. Un service commémoratif sera célébré à 11h le vendredi 11 mai 2001, en la chapelle du cimetière Pinecrest (2500, ch. Baseline, Ottawa). Une réunion suivra pour la famille et les amis au centre de réception Pinecrest. Au lieu de fleurs, des dons en sa mémoire aux Amputés de guerre ou à la Ottawa Humane Society seraient appréciés. La famille désire exprimer sa reconnaissance aux médecins, à l'équipe médicale et aux infirmier(ère)s de l'étage 5A de l'hôpital Civic et remercie aussi spécialement Wendy Ward, Ena Harport, Kathleen Greene et le Dre Barbara Collins pour leur soutien. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, May 11, 2001, at 11:00 a.m. at the Pinecrest Cemetery Chapel (2500 Baseline Road, Ottawa). A gathering of family and friends will follow in the Pinecrest Reception Centre. In lieu of flowers in memoriam donations to the War Amps of Canada or the Ottawa Humane Society would be appreciated. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the doctors, medical team and the nurses of the 5A floor of the Ottawa Civic Campus.
