Peacefully in hospital at Carleton Place, Ontario on Friday, May 11, 2001, John W. Turner age 79 years. Loving partner of the late Roberta Helen Turner. Dear father of David (Ruth) and stepfather of Gypsy Drynan. Cherished grandfather of Tina MacRae (Don) and Corry Perkins (Geoff). Great grandfather of Gage and Lexi. Survived by his 3 sisters and 1 brother. Friends may call at the Alan R. Barker Funeral Home 19 McArthur Avenue, Carleton Place on Monday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service to be held in the chapel on Tuesday at 11 a.m. with the Rev.
