RIVET, Dorothy – Peacefully at the Woodland Villa in Long Sault on Tuesday September 13, 2011. Dorothy Eva Rivet of Cornwall age; 85 years. Beloved wife of Gerard (Gerry) Rivet and the late Neil Caine. Cherished mother of Sharon Delorme, Lynda Bisonette and Cindy Ladouceur (Rheal), step-mother of Donny Lalonde, Sharon Webster (Jack), Richard Valade (late Carol) and Mike Rivet (Kim Jackson). Fondly remembered by many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Dorothy is survived by her brother Joe Bookhout (Joyce) and her sister Irma Porter (Late William) and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Walter and Violet Bookhout, her son Richard Caine and her daughters Beverly Caine and Susan Caine (Boileau), her brothers James Bookhout ( Lucile, Percy Bookhout ( Betty) , Raymond Bookhout ( Lucille) and Tony Bookhout ( Dorothy) and her sister Gladys Thompson ( Blake). The family will be in attendance at the Lahaie & Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Homes, West Branch 20 Seventh Street West (613-932-8482) from 2 p.m Friday. Funeral Saturday, September 17, 2011 for Service in Memorial Chapel of the Funeral Home at 10 a.m. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery. The family will be in attendance Friday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and on Saturday from 8:30 a.m. until time of Service.
