(nee Robertson) Born in Ottawa, Ont., December 5th, 1919. Age 81. She died peacefully on May 18th, 2001, in the West Vancouver Care Centre. Survived, and lovingly remembered, by her husband of nearly 55 years, Gordon, and her daughters Mary Lou Hearn, and Kathleen Grace Neros and her husband Ken Neros. Pre-deceased by her dear daughter "Margo" in 1971. Survived also by her sisters Ruth Campbell of Ottawa, and Marjorie Lafleur (Vincent) of Aylmer, Que., and brother Kenneth Robertson (Anne) of Cornwall, Ont., and by a number of nephews. Lois obtained her RN in Hamilton, Ont., in 1943 and worked as a nurse in Hamilton and Montreal until she married in 1946. She participated in church and school activities as her family grew up, and volunteered with Pets Limited in West Vancouver. She loved gardening, crafts and her pets, and was always a good friend and neighbour. A memorial service and reception will be held at Hollyburn Funeral Home, 1807 Marine Drive, West Vancouver, B.C., on Saturday, May 26, at 2 p.m. a donation to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
