Suddenly, at her home in Shawville, Quebec on Saturday May 19th, 2001 in her 87th year, Gwen Tubman, beloved wife of the late John C. Smith. Predeceased by her sister Irene Hart and her brother Kenneth. Sadly missed by sister-in-law Mary Tubman and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the W.J. Hayes & Sons Funeral Home, Quyon, Quebec, on Tuesday, May 22nd, 2001 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Wednesday, May 23rd to St. John's Anglican Church, Quyon, Quebec, for Service at 2 p.m. Interment Norway Bay United Cemetery.
