(Veteran WWII) Peacefully in hospital at Arnprior while surrounded by loved ones on Sunday morning, May 20th, 2001. Alfred Henry Keays of Arnprior; formerly of Perth at the age of 88 years. Beloved and devoted husband of Lois (nee Levesque). Dearly loved father of Blake Keays (and his wife Hilda) of Nepean, Graydon Keays (and his wife Andria) of Renfrew and Carolyn Keays of Arnprior. Dear brother of Stanley Keays (Dorothy) of Stittsville. Predeceased by 2 sisters, Charlotte Sharpe and Edith Soubliere as well as 4 brothers, Freddy, Jack, Harold and Blake Keays. Cherished "Grandpa" of Renee and Melanie and "Great-Grandpa" of Taylor. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Pilon Family Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 50 John Street North, Arnprior on Monday evening from 7 to 9 p.m., Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and after 12:30 p.m. Wednesday. Mass of Christian will be celebrated in St. John Chrysostom Church, Arnprior on Wednesday afternoon, May 23rd at 2 o'clock. Interment to follow at Malloch Road Cemetery. Donations to the St. John Chrysostom Church Memorial Fund would be appreciated by the Keays families. Members of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 174, Arnprior, will assemble for a Legion tribute at the funeral home on Tuesday evening at 6:45 p.m. Ottawa Citizen, May 21, 2001
