Peacefully, in North Sydney, NS on May 21, 2001 at the age of 80 years. Survived by his beloved wife, Violet (Vi) Morrison. Predeceased by his first wife, Maria Robillard Orpen Morrison. Mourned by his children, James Orpen of Belleville, ON, Mary-Rose Morrison of Ile Perrot, QC, Suzanne Perrenoud of Austin, TX, and Christine Birchansky of Fairfax, VA. Also survived by two sisters, several loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. Ottawa Citizen, May 26, 2001
