On Monday, May 21, 2001 in his seventy-first year. Devoted husband of Johanna (Kossits). Cherished father and father-in-law of Ann, Brigitte and Douglas. Beloved and proud grandfather of Eric and Adam. Brother of Georg, Fritz and Maria, predeceased by brothers Josef and Alois. He will also be sadly missed by his sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews, in Canada and in Austria. Much gratitude to the doctors, nurses and staff of St. Mary's Hospital for their care and support. Visitation at Kane & Fetterly Funeral Home, 5301 Decarie Blvd. (corner Isabella) on Wednesday, May 23, 2001, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass at St. Kevin's Church, 5600 Cote des Neiges Road on Thursday, May 24 at 10 a.m. Burial at Notre Dame des Neiges Cemetery.
