Born in South Africa, died in Montreal on May 22, 2001 at the age of sixty-six. He will be very much missed by Lorraine, by his family in South Africa and by his many friends around the world. He was a keen sportsman, an active participant in Quebec Rugby and a long time member of the Wanderers Rugby Club. Montreal Gazette, May 26, 2001
