(nee MacDonald). Retired nursing supervisor of the Montreal General Hospital, suddenly at the Maria Hospital in Quebec on Wednesday, May 23, 2001 at 8:03 a.m. in her seventy-third year. Beloved daughter to the late Alma and Angus MacDonald. Wife of the late David John Calder. Companion to the late Ausburn Astles of New Carlisle. Sister to Kay Wicks. Mother to Glenn, Cathy, Barb, Susan, Mary (adopted) and Dayle (deceased). Grandmother to eight and great grandmother to two. Visitation Sunday, May 27, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Legion Funeral Home in New Carlisle. Funeral service Monday, May 28 at 10 a.m. in the chapel of the funeral home, followed by a committal service at the Baptist Church in Flatlands, N.B., burial at the Flatlands Cemetery.
