(nee Tager). Peacefully at her residence on Thursday, May 24, 2001. Beloved wife of Seymour. Devoted mother and mother-in-law of Fern and Jason Pereira, Sherry and Michael Chow. Cherished daughter of the late Bessie and the late Moe Tager. Dear sister of Edward Tager. Helen will be sadly missed by her favorite niece, Lesley Tager; nephew, Howard Tager and her other nieces and nephews. Sister-in-law of Sam Collier. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon West on Sunday, May 27, 2001 at 1 p.m. Burial at the Hebrew Protective Cemetery Section, Kehal Israel Cemetery, Sources Road, D.D.O. Due to the festival of Shavuot, shiva ends on the evening of Sunday, May 27, 2001. The family wishes to thank Jan Shantz Von, Dr. M. Dworkind and wife Leslie, Chantal Cloutier, the Jewish General Hospital Oncology Department and other nurses, the nursing staff and therapists of the CLSC, Rene Cassin and Claire Tessier, Volunteer Pilgrim Project and other caring friends for their care, kindness and devotion.
