October 1, 1908 - May 24, 2001 Passed away peacefully in the Toronto General Hospital on Thursday afternoon, Fred Etherington, formerly of Arnprior in his 93rd year. Son of the late George and Jessie Etherington. Dear brother of Annie (the late Harvey) Young of Arnprior and Gordon (June) Etherington of Peterborough. Predeceased by brother Robert (Ruth) Etherington of Longview, Texas, USA. Survived by several nephews. Resting at The Boyce Funeral Home LTD., 138 Daniel Street N. Arnprior, where friends may pay their respects on Sunday 2 - 4 p.m. and 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral service will be conducted in the Chapel, Monday, May 28, 2001 at 11 a.m., Rev. Bruce Ferguson officiating. Interment Auld Kirk Cemetery in Almonte. In memory of Fred, a donation to Save The Grove Fund would be appreciated by his family. Ottawa Citizen, May 26, 2001
