Kathleen PRAHALES PANOS

, Kathleen (Kay) (1908-2011) An Angel of heaven on earth, through her pure spirit and wonderful heart, she brought love and inspiration to everyone she met. Survived by her sister and life long companion Marie (Grivakis), sister to the late Theodore, George, and Alex, beloved and adored aunt to Ernie Grivakis (Belle, Maria, Christina, Harry), the late George Grivakis (Julie Charbonneau, Alexia), Genie Panos, George Panos, Ellen Jane Panos and Frank Panos (Tracy, Alexandra, Frank, Adele). When cancer revisited at the age of 101, she served as a model of hope and encouragement for geriatric patients when she underwent radiation therapy. The family gives special thanks to her caregivers, Maria and Ann and to Dr. Doreen Wan-Chow-Wah and the staff of Geriatric Oncology, Jewish General Hospital. As Kay would say- “I love you all.” Visitation will be held on Friday October 7, 2011 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at the Mount Royal Funeral Complex, 1297 Chemin de la Foret, Outremont, Quebec H2V 2P9 (514) 279-6540 The funeral will be held at the Complex Chapel immediately following the visitation.
