In hospital in Renfrew, with his family by his side on Monday, May 28, 2001, James Leitch in his 97th year. Beloved husband of the late Kay Gannon by first marriage and the late Iva Thompson by second marriage. Dear father of Robert (Catherine) of Perth and Roy (Jeannine) of Renfrew. Brother of George of Toronto, Margaret Whyte of Arnprior, the late Grace Hoyle and the late Mary Lester. Sadly missed by grandchildren Matthew (Henna), Paula (Steve) Leitch-Blais, Christopher and Jonathon. Resting at the McPhail & Perkins Funeral Home, 85 Munro Avenue at Lorne, Renfrew, on Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. Funeral to the Chapel of Trinity St. Andrew United Church for Service Thursday at 11 a.m. Interment Thomsonville Cemetery.
