After a courageous battle with cancer on Tuesday, May 29, 2001, at the Jewish General Hospital. Will be sadly missed by his wife Mary Tessler Bercovitch, his daughters Anita Bercovitch Gelbart and Josie Bercovitch, sister Jennie Bercovitch Levitan, his grandchildren Sherri and Daniel Gelbart and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brother Joseph Bercovitch. Many thanks to all the staff in the Palliative care unit of the Jewish General Hospital. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon West, on Thursday, May 31, at 11:30 a.m. Burial at the Knights of Pythias Section, Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Duvernay.
