Peacefully after a lengthy battle against cancer, surrounded by family members Judith A. Lewis of Hawkesbury, Ontario, formerly of Newfoundland on Tuesday, May 29, 2001, age 35. Beloved wife of Mario Poirier. Dear daughter of Thomas and Anna Lewis of St. Andrews, Newfoundland. Dear sister of Madonna, Thomas, Carmel, Ray, Gerry, Betty, Joanne, Doris, Denis, Lisa and Rhodie. She will be sadly missed by her in-laws, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, June 1, 2001 at 10 a.m. at St. Jude Church, Hawkesbury. Interment Precious Blood Cemetery in St. Andrews, Newfoundland. The family would like to extend an invitation to family and friends to meet them at the church before the funeral around 9 a.m. Donations to the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation, 503 Smyth Road, Ottawa, Ontario, would be accepted.
