It is with much sadness that the family of Howard R. Campbell announce his passing on Monday, June 4, 2001, at the age of 91. He was the son of James and Nettie Campbell of Canfield, Ontario and brother of the late Nellie Charlton (John) of Paris, Ontario. Howie was the beloved husband of the late Edythe F. Campbell (McFarlane) and dearest father of Barbara Millar (late J. Ross Millar) of Ottawa, and of Jim Campbell (Linda) of Toronto. Loving grandfather to James (Maribeth) of Boston, David (Claire), and Pam of Ottawa, and of Catherine (Scot), Christine (Kent), and Sandra of Toronto. Loved great-grandfather of Hailey, Evan, and Casey Millar and of Darby, Anna, and Kathleen Millar. Visitation will be at the Humphrey Funeral Home - A.W. Miles Chapel, 1403 Bayview Avenue, Toronto, on Thursday from 2 to 5 p.m. and on Friday, June 8, 2001 from noon until service time in the Chapel at 3 p.m. All will remember Howie as a wonderful friend and educator who had the ability to uplift with his sparkling smile.
