Peacefully at Lanark Lodge, Perth, Ontario, on Monday, June 4, 2001, Philip B. Crawford of Smiths Falls, in his 89th year. Beloved husband for 52 years of Jeannette Dagenais. Loved father of Michael (Joanne) of Ottawa, Patrick of London and Peter of Toronto. Cherished grandfather of Sasha, Clifton, Alexander, Alana, Sarah, Thomas, and Neil Crawford. Brother of Anne Carson of Ottawa, Charles Crawford of Oakville and Bill Crawford of Falconbridge. Predeceased by brother Frederick Crawford. Philip was an employee of the Prudential Insurance Company for 37 years. His career was interrupted to serve in England during the Second World War. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, Smiths Falls from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Francis de Sales Church, Smiths Falls on Thursday, June 7 at 11 a.m. Interment St. Francis de Sales Cemetery. Donations to the Alzheimer's Society of Lanark County would be appreciated. The family wish to extend a special thanks to the staff of Lanark Lodge for their kind and loving care.
