Passed away peacefully on Monday, June 4, 2001 in his ninety-first year. Beloved husband of Teddy Parkin, loving father of Edward and his wife, Dolores and cherished grandfather (Dziadziu) of Mark Jeremy and his wife Patrizia. Brother of the late Mary Mizgala (the late Walter), the late Joseph (Emily), Winnifred (the late George), Albert (Jennie), Theodora (Stanley), Lucy (Henry) and Henrietta (Bruce). Also survived by brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and friends. Henry along with his father, Alexander and brothers, Joseph and Albert, will be best remembered for "Alexander Ropeleski & Sons Bakery"; once the home of the best and freshest Polish bread in Quebec. Henry also served as warden of the Church and on the executive of the Polish White Eagle Society for many years. Visitation at Alfred Dallaire Inc., 2590 Rouen Street, Montreal on Tuesday and Wednesday from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday from 9 to 10 a.m. Funeral Mass on Thursday, June 7, 2001 at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 2550 Gascon corner Hochelaga, Montreal. Interment at Cote des Neiges Cemetery. Donations to the Royal Victoria Hospital, Orthopaedic Department or the Montreal General Hospital Foundation. Donation forms will be available at the parlor.
