Formerly a professor of Political Science, and for the last twelve years, Director of the Refugee Research Project at McGill University. In Montreal, after a courageous battle with cancer, at the age of seventy-two. Loving husband of Gabrielle Tyrnauer and father for Amelia. Uncle of Elaine, Jan and Michael. A funeral service will be held at the Mount Royal Funeral Complex, 1297 Chemin de la Forest, Outremont, on Friday, June 8 at 11 a.m. Donations to Cancer Research Society or Hope and Cope.
