Peacefully on June 9, 2001 at the Montreal General Hospital, with family by his side. Devoted husband of Elena (Mazionyte), father of Vytas (Colleen), Paul (Julia) and Algis (Cathy), grandfather of Daniel, Leo, Jennifer, Stephanie and Lauren. Visitation at the Centre Funeraire Cote des Neiges (4525 Cote des Neiges,) from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, June 12. A memorial service will be held at Ausros Vartu Parpija (Our Lady Gate of Dawn) Church in Verdun (1465 de Seve, adjacent Jolicoeur Metro Station) at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, June 13, followed by burial at Notre Dame des Neiges Cemetery (4601 Cote des Neiges). Thanks to the staff at the Montreal General for their gracious care.
