Plumber, employee of Bill Boivin and Clearview Plumbing for many years, the Montfort Hospital and at the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario. Veteran of World War II. Gilles Robert of St-Albert, formerly of Orleans, passed away on June 12th, 2001 at the age of 77 years. Beloved husband of Yvette Forget for 52 years. Father and friend of Philippe of Casselman, he will be grieved by his daughter-in-law Lise whom he loved very much and his two grandchildren Patrick and Genevieve whom he cherished, also by 2 sisters Therese (late Armand Lafleur) of Ottawa, Cecile (late Oscar Sayer) of Edmonton, Alberta, 3 sisters-in-law Laurette (late Marcel Robert) of Clarence Creek, Laurencia (late Rene Belair) of Orleans and Lucille (late Michael Sadlo) Buffalo, N.Y., one brother-in-law Alban Legault (late Jeannette Forget) of Ottawa, and a special friend Frank Madore. He is predeceased by his brothers: Marcel, Paul (late Ella), Edouard (late Stella), Ernest, Albert (late Emilienne), his sisters Berthe (late Nap Potvin) and Christianna (late Armand Bernier), his brothers-and-sisters-in-law; Aurele Houle (late Laura Forget), Rolland Forget (Blanche), Raoul Gareau (late Lina Forget). Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the LAFLEUR AND ROBERT Funeral Home LTD., 709 Principal St., Casselman. Visitations will be held at the Heritage Funeral Home, 2871 St-Joseph Boulevard in Orleans on Thursday, June 14th, 2001, from 7 to 9 and starting at 9:00 on Friday. The funeral service will be held on Friday, June 15th, 2001 at St-Joseph Church, 2757 St-Joseph Boulevard at 11:00 a.m. A special thanks to the Villa St-Albert and their employees and to the St-Viateur Nursing Home for their good care.
