Longtime standing member of the DEWAAN Foundation. Peacefully in hospital on Tuesday, June 12, 2001, James Taraby aged 87 years. Beloved husband of Adele Salhany for 60 years. Loving uncle, guardian and special friend to June Salhany and her husband Gilles Charbonneau. Dear brother of Marie Valois, Louis Taraby and Millie Zakaib. Lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Uncle Jimmy will be forever remembered for his love of life, free spirit and sense of humour. A private family service was held in the Chapel of McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road. Donations to Saint Elias Church or the Heart Institute would be appreciated.
